This photo is a good representation of two quick photography tips.
1. Always arrive early. This image was taken before a sunrise shoot when I arrived on-site before the sun. Creating this image kept me entertained and arriving early allowed for equipment to be setup and the initial image to be framed. If I had shown up exactly at sunrise then the best light would have been missed, I would have been stressed, and this shot obviously wouldn’t have been created.
2. Buy bright colored clothes. You never know when you will need to stand in, and stand out, from a landscape. This time the vibrant red thermoball jacket by North Face provided the pop. A bright blue bag was out of frame. The safety orange running shirt was hidden under the outer layers of clothes.
